Many mnemonic systems have been developed to aid in remembering numbers (mention cards, sound numbers, PINs, passwords, etc). The most salient of these assigns a unique consonant strait to each digit, 0-9. These sounds are then used to shape language / phrases that are more easily remembered than the bleak numbers they represent. For instance the number 70395 translates into “instance” which, along with the translation rules, is far easier to retrieve than the number. The 2Know software automates the translation of numbers to language / phrases using big English, French, and German phonetic dictionaries. The user just enters the number to be translated and a lean of candidate language is produced. The user then selects a phrase. If additional digits pauperism to be translated, additional candidate language are presented for choice. This process is continued until the numeric thread is all translated.
